The Problem
Hiring is broken. Candidates are reduced to keyword-matched resumes. Recruiters waste hours filtering noise. Our platform fixes that by matching people to roles based on what they've actually achieved.
The product is 70% built. The only thing standing between us and launch is a developer who can finish the job.
The Root Cause
We've done the product work, design, and user testing. We've validated the workflows with early beta users. What's missing is a single builder who can own the code, ship the remaining features, and push the MVP live. Without that, we're stalled.
Success Looks Like
- •MVP live and stable within weeks, not months
- •Resume parsing, scoring, and AI/LLM matching engine fully functional
- •Stripe subscription + per-candidate unlocks running smoothly
- •Secure handling of PII and company data, ready for paying customers
- •Feedback loops in place with real candidates and employers to drive iteration
What You'll Do
- •Own the backend: Python/FastAPI, Postgres, pgvector, Redis, AWS/Fly.io
- •Build the matching engine: AI/LLM-powered candidate-to-role matching
- •Integrate resume parsing, scoring, and Stripe-based payment flows
- •Collaborate on product direction with live user feedback
- •Move fast and cut what doesn't matter
You Should Be
- •A full-stack or backend-heavy engineer who's shipped real products
- •Hands-on with LLMs, vector search, and data-heavy applications
- •Comfortable being the only dev until we scale
- •Looking to earn meaningful equity, not collect a paycheck
- •Skeptical, pragmatic, and done with corporate tech theater
